Clarkson Residents, Our Candidates, Standing up for you. Our government was founded with the idea of representing all of the people. Without checks and balances, even the best of intentions may lead to errors and inefficiencies. Many voices, representing different points of view, lead to better decision making For example What is our fair share for the Sweden Clarkson Recreation Center? Is a second entrance to Hafner Park needed at the cost of over $50,000 and was never completed? Why is there such a high employee turnover at the Highway Department? Could money be saved with a consolidation of our Justice Department? Clarkson residents can count on and trust Theresa Alano as Town Supervisor, with Tom Trapp and Sheldon Meyers on the Town Board. Together, they will insure equitable and consistent assessments and do it in a fiscally responsible way. They will work to move Clarkson forward while maintaining the rural landscape, by specifically scrutinizing all commercial development in order to preserve our distinctive community character All three Candidates, Alano, Meyers and Trapp, are qualified and will bring their varied and vital experience to making Town Board decisions.
